On CVs, described as "Photographer to the Prince de Chimay". Quite possibly Henri Joseph (° Aix-la-Chapelle [Prussia], 4.4.1825; + Prémontré [Aisne, F], 16.1.1885), son of Pierre-Joseph Kirsch. Recorded as a lithographer in Saint-Quentin [Aisne, F] in 1854-1858, then as a photographer in Dieppe [Seine-Maritime, F] in June 1859 and as a photographer domiciled in Mauberge [Nord, F] living in Trélon in September 1860. He operated a studio in Chauny [Aisne, F] from 1865 and which was run by his son Eugène Louis (° Hirson [Aisne, F], 27.1.1864) after his death.
