United States patent of 28.11.1911 for a "process of treating photographic paper" by Joseph Sury and Edmond Bastyns, assigned to the firm. The firm's first commissioner (auditor) was Hubert Elsen. He was replaced in May 1911 by Ch. Franck, most probably François Franck's elder brother Charles (° Antwerp, 11.5.1870; + Antwerp, 11.1.1935) and his partner in the furniture and decoration business Franck Frères.
