Joint-stock company founded on 31.10.1908 with the purpose of registering patents of invention for trichromatic photography, exploiting and selling the patents as well as manufacturing equipment and supplies relating to the process. Directors: François Franck, industrialist, Antwerp; Paul François, doctor of medicine, Antwerp; Joseph Sury, engineer-chemist, Wyneghem. United States patent of 28.11.1911 for a "process of treating photographic paper" by Joseph Sury and Edmond Bastyns, assigned to the firm. The firm's first commissioner (auditor) was Hubert Elsen. He was replaced in May 1911 by Ch. Franck, most probably François Franck's elder brother Charles (° Antwerp, 11.5.1870; + Antwerp, 11.1.1935) and his partner in the furniture and decoration business Franck Frères.
