° 6.8.1874; + 24.2.1909. Erroneously "Lahuser" in the directory. Arrived in Antwerp from Strasbourg [Alsace, D] on 1.2.1900 when recorded as a journeyman photographer. Domiciled at this address when he died. Since his successor Henri Jaeger already arrived here on 31.10.1905, it is safe to assume that he operated for Lahmer here until the latter's demise. Still listed here in 1911, when Jaeger was using the name "Maison Lahmer".

His registration form, dated 3.6.1905, records him as a photographer and states: "Comes every day from Ghent to Antwerp on business". No first name in ABP membership lists. Member of the "Cercle d'études photographiques et scientifiques d'Anvers" in 1908 (no first name). Died at this address according to his death certificate.
