° 22.4.1802. Printer-publisher and director of the "Société des beaux-arts de Bruxelles". Partner of Antoine Dewasme (- Pletinckx) (see that name). At his wedding in Orléans [F] on 4.9.1828, already recorded as a printer and bookseller domiciled in Brussels. Laurent moved back to Paris where he took over a firm making stained-glass windows in 1842, renaming it "Laurent & Compagnie". As "Laurent & Gsell" from 1860 and finally as "Gsell - Laurent" from the 1870s onwards, the firm remained active in supplying decorated windows for churches into the 1890s.
