Founded on 15.6.1901. Headquarters at this address. Club founded with the aim of promoting photography as an art. Organised five annual exhibitions of Belgian and foreign pictorialist works from 1901 to 1905. Action committee: L. Sneyers (president), L. Claeys, F. Leys, V. Stouffs and L. Willems. At times L. Bovier or L. Sneyers were recorded as secretaries of the club and F. Leys the treasurer. Made a collective submission of eight members' work (Adelot, Dewit, Gaspar, Leys, Mathy, Sneyers, Stouffs, Willems) to the exhibition held in Hamburg in 1903 under the auspices of the "Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Amateur-Photographie" and thereafter to other exhibitions held abroad. In 1906, the action committee consisted of six members: Claeys, Leys, (Commander) Mathy, Sneyers, Stouffs, Willems.
