The Fotomuseum Antwerp has seven views in its collection that originally came from the legacy of one G. Lemajeur. Some of them bear the interlocked initials GL on the front and an inscription containing a date of receipt (1915 and 1916) and the location "Grosses-Moor" on the back. "Gilbert" Emile Constant Lemajeur (° Ghent, 2.4.1892; + Ghent, 5.12.1966) was a prisoner of war in Großes Moor [D] at the same time, so it is likely that these photographs were taken and sent by his father Gustave Lemajeur (° Ghent, 24.11.1864; + Ghent, 25.11.1921). Both Gustave and his son were members of the "Dageraad's Kring - Willen is Kunnen" and one of them, "G. Lemajeur", was scheduled to photograph the different sections of the circle during an assembly on 25.6.1911 (Vaderland, 23.6.1911).
