Amatus Carolus Ludovicus, ° 7.9.1889; + 20.2.1960. Clerk. Deputy secretary of the "Photographische Kring / Cercle de Photographie", 1911-1912 and vice-president by 1921. Lemmens’ main activity as an art photographer took place during the interwar period, when he participated in numerous exhibitions in Belgium and abroad. The Photography Museum in Antwerp houses 25 exhibition prints and a personal album of 24 prints that offers a representative selection of Lemmens’ oeuvre.
