Josephus Maria Catharina, ° 15.10.1868; + 11.1.1941. "Le Moine" on his marriage certificate. The Photography Museum in Antwerp possesses a notebook containing a manuscript list of Lemoine's negatives for the period 1902 to 1905. The same source reveals that he was friendly with Henri Rubbens (see that name). Treasurer of the "Photo-Club de Berchem - Anvers" in 1905. Member of the “Cercle d’études photographiques et scientifiques d’Anvers” from 1906; committee member in 1913, succeeded Goetschalckx as treasurer in 1913. He gave a lecture on autochromes to the club in 1910. Lemoine left Antwerp for Great Britain in October 1914, not returning until 1919 or later. Retained the role of treasurer to the club until c. 1938.
