Activity

1907 - 1913 Verviers, Place des Près Javais, 99
= Rue Raymond, 99, the alternative address listed in the directories. François Henri (° Verviers, 14.6.1893) was too young to have operated here initially, though Henri is the name given in the directory. It must be his father, Henri Joseph (° Heusy, 28.10.1866), who went by the name Henri and was recorded as a storeman at his wedding in Verviers on 27.6.1891 and then as a linen dryer at the birth of his son two years later. François Henri had a brother who was a draughtsman.
1913 - 1914 Verviers, Rue Marie-Henriette, 57
Leruse succeeded Firmin Halin (see that name) at Rue de Dison, 118 in 1919, then left Verviers for Paris in September 1921, together with his brother, and became a naturalised French citizen in 1939.
