Edmond Joseph, ° 5.1.1848. Son of Hubert. Witness at the wedding of his younger brother Jérôme Levaque on 13.12.1884, where he was recorded as a photographer aged 36 resident in Lille [F]. This branch studio operated in Lille [F], Grand Place, 12 or 23 in the 1880s under the trade name "Grande Photographie Américaine". CVs bear the name "Levaque" and either the initial "E." or "J." or no initial at all. Voignier records the Lille studio (Levaque, no initial) as operating at Grande Place, 24 then 12 from about 1882 to 1887.
