Announced the transfer of "Photographie Levaque" from Liège to this address "under the name Jérôme Levaque" at the end of May 1878 (La Meuse, 31.5.1878). Officially arrived at this address from Liège on 12.7.1878. Jérôme and Edmond appear to have operated in tandem well into the 1880s. On CV back, c. 1878, for studio in Lille [F], Grande Place, 28, "Grande Photographie Américaine" and "J. Levaque, Bruxelles"; others, in the early 1880s, bear initial "E" or "J" on recto. Co-existed with studio in Paris [F], Rue Vivienne, 2 in 1881 trading as "Grande Photographie Américaine / E. Levaque"; see entry for Edmond Levaque. Stay in Amsterdam [NL] from 3.6.1881 to 7.8.1882. Branch in The Hague [NL], Willemstraat, 63 during this period. Voignier records the Lille studio (Levaque, no initial) as operating at Grande Place, 24 then 12 from about 1882 to 1887. Initial "G. in the directory in 1890 and 1891. Moved to no. 20 on 26.11.1892. Listed simultaneously at no. 90 and 20 in 1893-1894, and at no. 92 and 20 in 1895. Left for Tilff on 21.5.1907 and returned to Brussels in 1911 when he was registered as a person of independent means.
