Founded in December 1903. In 1905, president: Dr Victor Marinus; vice-president: Eug. Meeus; secretary: Coenen; treasurer: Lefever; technical director: Steyaert; librarian: Thomas. Another source states joint presidents in 1905: Dr Victor Marinus and Eug. Meeus. No. 129 housed the sociably named "Volkslust". Public course on photography delivered weekly by R. Van den Dries and Edmond Bastyns beginning on 7.11.1904. Also gave slide shows. First public exhibition opened in Berchem town hall on 24.12.1905. In 1908, president: Dr Victor Marinus; vice-president: Cassiers; secretary: Coenen; treasurer: Thomas; technical director: Baeyens; librarian: Kappen. 23 members in 1905, 20 members in 1908.
