Organised photography competitions for its members as early as 1898 (Le Journal de Bruxelles, 16.3.1898). From 1906, this cycling club included a "Section de Photographie (et des Conférences)", which announced its first general assembly in Diest for 6.5.1906 (La Meuse, 14.4.1906). In 1909, president: Alfred Martougin. In 1913, president: Alfred Martougin; secretary: Joseph Buys - Van Genk; committee members: "Messrs Cordier & Em. De Meuse". The latter was referred to as vice-president of the section in December 1912. Organised yearly photography competitions from from at least 1909 to 1913. From a report on the photography section for 1913: "It is desirable that in a body such as the L.V.B., with numerous amateur photographers in its ranks, they should participate more heavily in competitions which, divided into categories, are accessible to all". The photographic section was still in existence in 1919.
