° 20.1.1860; + 30.12.1929. Archaeologist, historian and painter. Youngest son of painter Willem Linnig Senior (1819-1885). He returned from a stay in Germany with his father in 1882. Shortly afterwards he practised photography, apparently for only a short while. On CV, "Medals from several exhibitions. Instantaneous system". He lived in Rue Courte de l'Evêque in 1886.
