Augustinus Gaspard Loos (° Antwerp, 1815), in partnership with Jean Baptiste Léandre Henry (° Mauzay, [Meuse, F], c. 1836). A police report, dated 30.8.1865, described Henry as a photographer aged 29 who had "left Lille furtively, leaving behind numerous debts and without paying his rent". A following report, dated 9.9.1865, recorded that Henry "is associated at the moment with a certain Loos, a painter living in Rue des Brasseurs, where he has a photographic studio". Henry had previously stayed a few days at Quai Sainte-Aldegonde, 44, Loos' residence according to the population registry, and where Loos was described as a sculptor, thereafter as a painter. Loos moved to Groenplaats, 4 on 24.9.1865.
