Listed at this address and at Rue de Louvain by Mendel in 1902. Member of the "Photo-Club de Schaerbeek" in 1903-1904 with address given as Rue du Marché, no street number. Loozen spent World War I in Bournemouth [GB] where he worked as an electrician. On his return to Diest after the war, operated at no. 19. Subsequently active in the interwar period in Paardenstraat. Published picture postcards of Diest. Also sold bicycles, musical instruments, light fittings, etc. In 1942, Loozen sold 137 negatives documenting the built and artistic heritage of Diest to the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA), Brussels.
