1882 * - 1914 > Bruxelles - Saint-Josse, Chaussée de Louvain, 51
At this address from 27.9.1882 to 15.4.1911. Artist and painter. "Special studio for equestrians. Guaranteed permanent portraits on porcelain plaques for funerary monuments. Printing in printer’s ink". In 1899 he took a series of photographs "Canal de Bruxelles au Rupel", published in collotype. Overlapped with A. Cusinier at this address from 1908 onwards. On 15.4.1911 Louvois moved his domicile to Brussels - Saint-Josse, Place Saint-Josse, 1, an address already listed in 1903 in the Monod directory. Also recorded as photographers in Brussels: Jean Louvois, aged 28, in November 1898 and Pierre Louvois, aged 22, in March 1902. The studio continued trading at this address as "A. Louvois" until 1936, ie, six years after Adrien Louvois’ death, most probably run by one or both of his sons; indeed, the partnership of J. & P. Louvois was listed at Brussels - Schaerbeek, Rue Anatole France, 42 in 1938.

1903 - 1914 > Bruxelles - Saint-Josse, Place Saint-Josse, 1
Listed here until his death. An obituary notice still referred to him as a photographer at this address.
