Joseph Stanislas Edgard, ° 22.4.1857; + 19.6.1935. Publisher and collotypist. On the occasion of his wedding to Félicité Henriette Léonie Claesen (° Liège, 25.9.1861), daughter of Charles Claesen (see that name), in Brussels on 24.6.1882, he was recorded as a tradesman. He published photographs taken by Alexandre of the military diorama at the Antwerp Universal Exhibition in 1894 and stereos by Louis Van Neck of the "Old Antwerp" neighbourhood reconstructed at the same event, over which exhibition area Lyon - Claesen had exclusive reproduction rights. Member of the management board of "Compagnie Générale d'Editions Lyon-Claesen S.A." on its establishment in Brussels, Rue Saint-Pierre, 9 on 21.4.1899.
