Philémon / Philomon, ° 14.12.1860. Makeeff and his family arrived at this address from Locle [CH] in late July 1910. The family included two sons Eugène / Eugeen (° Smielo-Kiev [RUS], 1886) and Vladimir / Wladimir (° Locle [CH], 14.5.1893; + ?, 1939). Philémon Makeeff, of Russian origin and naturalised Swiss in 1897, operated in Chaux-de-Fonds [CH] in 1900 and in Locle [CH] from 1899 to 1924, followed by Wladimir until 1939.
