Joseph François Casimir, known as Joseph Désiré, ° 10.3.1880; + October 1956. Student of the "Académie des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles". Nude studies of Dutch dancer and future spy Mata Hari (1876 - 1917), dated 1912. Deputy secretary of the "Union des Photographes Professionnels de Belgique", 1913. In an annex to the "Bulletin de l'Union des Photographes Professionels" of January 1913, Massot declared that he had run this studio for 10 years and was now selling it due to family circumstances.

Created an "extra-modern studio" at this address in 1913, reportedly costing 60 000 frs. Continued to operate at this address through the interwar years. During this period, his prints had a distinctive presentation, with multiple mounting in art deco style. Official photographer of the Belgian field army in 1927 (Le Soir, 17.3.1927).
