Maurice Weyns (° Brussels - Laeken, 30.4.1893) was the son of Fernand Weyns [q.v.], an experienced photographer. Given Maurice's extreme youth, the trading name "Maurice" may have been used by the father, with Maurice as his assistant. For two Belgian studios likely named after infant sons, see entries for Albert (Atelier) and Frantz. "Wanted. A good operator-retoucher" (La Meuse, 25.8.1906).
