Louis Meyer (° 12.9.1865) was recorded as an agronomist living in Brussels on the occasion of his wedding to Agnès Leuther (° Monschau [D], 4.3.1860) in Brussels - Saint-Josse on 29.5.1895. He was found guilty in Liège on 27.12.1909, verdict confirmed on 7.5.1912, of displaying and offering for sale 16 counterfeit speaking machines. Meyer had been selling parlophones in his shop since 1902.
