At this address, probably his first studio, from 3.11.1890 until 27.1.1892, when he declared his departure for Brussels - Saint-Gilles with his wife Lucie Hesbain (° Tournai, 7.1.1862; + Marcinelle, 2.5.1941), daughter of Lucien Hesbain (see that name). They married on 18.1.1892.

He appears to have left for Rue de Marcinelle by 1909 even though the 1913 Monod directory still lists the studio here.
