Activity
1902 - 1914 Anvers, Rue de l'Aqueduc, 4 or 4/1 [Rioolstraat]
Conrad Hubert, ° 5.4.1857; + 15.11.1930. Publisher and vendor of picture postcards. Already advertising cigars at this address in December 1899. On a letterhead dated 13.1.1911, the suffix "& Cie" has been crossed out. The same letterhead also suggests that the firm had branches in Berlin, London and Liverpool at some point, but that section has been crossed out as well. Listed as a confectioner at no. 5 by 1920.
1911 - 1913 Anvers, Marché aux Gants, 1
A fire on 27.12.1910 reportedly destroyed a substantial part of Nacken's store at Rue de l'Aqueduc (Het Handelsblad, 28.12.1910), so it is likely that he temporarily opened a new store at this address for that reason.
