Lambert François Nagant de Deuxchaisnes, ° 20.5.1809; + 10.2.1902. Member of the ABP from 12.1.1875. Described consistently in official documents and ABP membership lists as a person of private means. Signature with initial "F." or abbreviation "F.çois". Not to be confused with his elder son François Joseph (° Liège, 29.4.1848; + Neeroeteren, 5.6.1904), an engineer who graduated from the University of Liège in 1872 and was then employed by the mining firm of Monceau-Fontaine & Martinet at Monceau-sur-Sambre from 1873 to 1886 and domiciled in Roux. The younger François also signed "F." but was described exclusively as an engineer.
