Louis Joseph, ° 9.10.1820; + 22.10.1866. Arrived at this address from Liège on 12.8.1859. He started as an operator at Plumier’s studio, then became his partner, 1862, and finally succeeded him, 1864 ca. These premises were located on the corner formed with the Rue d'Aremberg, which is the address given on a CV dated 1864 ca: "Daremberg". The "Galerie du Roi" was (and remains) part of the "Passage Saint-Hubert", the address that was also used sometimes. Nysten was recorded as a photographer at this address on his death certificate. He committed suicide by shooting himself in the head, reportedly because of financial troubles (La Meuse, 23.10.1866).
