Guillaume Léopold René, known as Guy, ° 9.4.1879; + 12.12.1935. Already recorded as an engraver domiciled in Paris [F], Avenue du Parc Montsouris, 4 at the occasion of his wedding there on 9.5.1903. Also watercolour and landscape artist. Photoengraving studio, possibly established in 1906. Process blocks on zinc and copper and for colour printing. Blocks and drawings for catalogues, newspapers and advertising matter. Also collotype printing. Trips to Switzerland and Southern France. Still advertising here as a photographer in March 1912. Still listed here under "collotype" in the 1914 Mertens directory, no doubt erroneously.

Transfer of Onkelinx's studio and office to this address announced for 1.6.1912. Three-colour printing. Picture postcards. Listed at no. 8 until 1930, then at no. 14 until his death. Publisher, illustrator, photo-engraver. In a death notice, Onkelinx was described as an artist-painter and master printer in his 57th year. Buried in Brussels - Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.
