Recorded as a photographer aged 35 resident in Brussels in March 1908. CVs have been found with the trade name "Photographie du Centre. Comptoir général d'agrandissements", c. 1905, at both of Otthiers’ addresses, whose name features only in the directories. The studios at Rue du Miroir and Vieille Halle aux Blés coexisted for a short time.
