1889 * - 1892 / Bruxelles, Boulevard de la Senne, 18
Otto Witter (see that name) was the director of this establishment that seems to have displayed series of images from August Fuhrmann's catalogue. Opened in late March 1889 on the first floor of the Alhambra theatre. "The panoramas are renewed every week..." (Le Peuple, 27.3.1889). "The series, completely new, consists of fifty snapshots taken from life..." (La Nation, 28.3.1892).
1889 * - 1892 / Bruxelles, Rue du Fossé aux Loups, 14
Opened here on 30.6.1889 and was still advertising here in mid-November 1892.
1890 Ypres, Houtmarktstraat, “den Keizer”
Opening here on 13.4.1890, including views of the Paris Universal Exhibition. Still advertising on 27.4.1890.
1891 - 1892 Gand, Marché aux Grains
Advertised in "Hélios Illustré" from December 1891 to March 1892.
1892 * - 1895 Bruxelles, Boulevard du Nord, 88
Witter moved to this address on 26.11.1892 and seems to have continuously advertised here until at least January 1895 (Journal de Bruxelles, 18.1.1895).
1893 * Bruxelles, Boulevard Anspach, 7
Witter moved to this address on 24.4.1893 and advertised here until the beginning of June 1893 (Le Soir, 4.7.1893).
1893 * - 1894 Bruxelles, Rue Jules van Praet, 8
Official opening announced for 9.7.1893 (Le Peuple, 8.7.1893). Witter moved to this address on 24.7.1893 and was still advertising here in June 1894 (La Réforme: organe de la démocratie libérale, 2.6.1894).
1896 * - 1898 / Bruxelles, Rue du Fossé aux Loups, 12
Reopened at this address on 25.12.1896 (Journal de Bruxelles, 25.12.1896). A newspaper report records C. Witter as the director of the Panorama at this time. It is entirely possible that Otto's son Charles Jules Otto Witter (° Chênée, 6.3.1881) had succeeded his father by then. The Witters officially moved to this address on 31.12.1896 and the Panorama was still advertising here in November 1898 (La Réforme: organe de la démocratie libérale, 16.11.1898). They moved to Brussels - Schaerbeek on 23.12.1898.
