Founded on 23.4.1898. In 1903-1904, president: Josse Van Thielen; vice-president: Fritz Steinmetz; treasurer: Victor Van Durme; secretary: Camille Poupeye; other committee members: Jules Fourdin (stocktaker) and Léon Van Peteghem (social secretary). 31 members in 1903, 27 members in 1904 and 20 in 1908. The "Annuaire général et international de la Photographie" listed 22 members in 1903-1905 and 33 members in 1906-1908. Meeting room and darkroom in "Cave de Munich", Bailles de Fer, 9. The club's first exhibition or "salon", was held in the "Salle des Géants" on the Grand'Place from 23.5. to 2.6.1903. Organised excursions. The club participated in the 1910 international exhibition in Brussels, displaying views and monuments of Malines under the umbrella organisation "Collectivité des Cercles Malinois".
