Founded in 1885. Founding president: Jules de Baugnies; Secretary: C. Rouche. In 1892, president: Jules de Baugnies; Secretary: Charles Porta. Subsequent presidents: Jules Springuel - Wilmotte, then Charles Porta. 14 members in 1892 and 1894. Initially monthly meetings in the "Athénée de Huy" and, after that building burned down in 1886, in "Café Hodru", Rue Griange. Organisation of slide shows beginning in 1886 including, in 1894, one on animal mimeticism from negatives by Dr Emile Delsaux (see that name) and one on graphology in 1899. Activity in the decade before World War I is ill documented. The Club was reconstituted on 10.8.1923.
