Arnoldus Gerardus, ° 1.3.1870; + 9.1.1931. His father, also Arnold, had been a lithographer, photographer and zincographer in Den Bosch [NL] from 1885 until his death in 1905. Unlike his father, he was very mobile, working initially in the Netherlands (Rotterdam, Den Bosch, Vught) before leaving for Liège on 8.8.1900, working in Chimay until 1901. He had periods thereafter in Rotterdam, Utrecht and Amiens [F] before settling in Antwerp. The studio was destroyed at the beginning of World War I, after which he lived at Marché au Lait, 17 until November 1916. Registered back in Rotterdam from 1916 until 1926 and again from 1927 onwards. The studio in Marché aux Souliers was still recorded in the 1920 directory. Pistoor addressed a letter to the mayor of Antwerp on 11.5.1923 requesting permission to resettle there again.
