Aimé Félix M. Jh, ° 31.8.1872. Midshipman, artist and photographer. Poschelle was involved in at least the preliminary stages of the Belgian Antarctic Expedition under the command of Adrien Gerlache. "Yesterday there left from Antwerp for Sandefjord (Norway) [...] Aimé Poschelle of Brussels, draughtsman-photographer [...] to join Captain Gerlache to take possession of the "Belgica", the vessel to be used by the Antarctic expedition, and to sail her into the port of Antwerp" (Le Soir, 17.5.1897). Poschelle married in Brussels - Anderlecht in April 1900.
