Jules Guillaume Raymond, ° 1.4.1855; + 2.2.1924. Founder member of the ABP ("Remacker"). Student until 1890, with initial "R". In 1890 there were two Raeymackers (no forename) in the ABP membership list, one in Tirlemont/Tienen and the other a lawyer in Brussels. Thereafter only Raymond. From 1895 on, Raymond was listed as a founder member. Apparently there was an error in the 1890 ABP membership list and the two were one and the same person.
1879 - 1880 Neerhespen
1881 - 1890 Tirlemont
Registered as an industrialist, aged 30, in the population registry in 1885.
1890 - 1914 > Bruxelles
Described as an “engineer and well known amateur” (Hélios illustré, 1.8.1892) when an apparatus for projection and enlargement of his design and constructed by Louis Van Neck was shown at the ABP in 1892. Recorded as a lawyer in ABP membership lists, but as an engineer in May 1893, an industrialist in June 1896 and once again as an engineer at his daughter's wedding on 31.1.1901. Still a member of the ABP in 1922.
