Edouard, also known as Emile and Emilio in Spain, ° 6.7.1851. Engineer. Member of the ABP from 12.1.1875. At his wedding in Liège on 26.9.1882, he was recorded as domiciled in Jupille (Liège) while resident in Torrelavega [Cantabria, E]. Rasquinet was definitely domiciled in Torrelavega from 1882 until 1885 and it can be assumed that he worked in the Solvay factory that was operating there. In 1892, as a co-founder of the "Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Torrelavega", he was recorded as a chemical engineer at the mines in Reocín [Cantabria, E]. Rasquinet went on to become director general of "S.A. des Usines à Cuivre et à Zinc de Liège".
