Georges Saint Aubin (or François Antoin), ° 22.10 or 11.1847; + 2.1.1905. Arrived in Belgium on 1.6.1867. Already recorded as a photographer resident in Brussels - Schaerbeek, Rue Allard at the occasion of his wedding there on 7.4.1870. Operator in an unspecified Brussels studio. Founder member of the ABP. Bursar of the "Mutuelle photographique belge" in 1875.

An operator in Maes’ studio since his arrival at this address from Brussels - Saint-Josse on 1.8.1876, Raynaud reportedly acquired the studio in 1882, but there are photographs in his own name from as early as June 1877 onwards (“former firm Jos Maes”) and he exhibited at this address under his own name in Paris in 1878. In 1882 he established a factory for producing gelatine-bromide plates ranging in size from 9 x 12 cm to 30 x 40 cm. "Album de Fabriques & de Manufactures de la Province d'Anvers", 1880, containing 53 carbon prints, 15.5 x 22 cm, exterior and interior views of factories. His death certificate recorded him at Rue Anselmo, 45 and of no profession.
