Jean Lambert, ° 29.1.1850. Journeyman photographer, then printer-photographer. Arrived from Louvain on 1.3.1890, after ending the partnership with his brother Léon (see relevant entry). See also Richard & Renard, [L.], Peeters, [F.] & Renard, [L.]; Gedoelst, [T.] & Renard, [L.]; as well as Maurice & Cie, Rue de l'Empereur, 12 where Renard was manager and resident from 27.3.1891 to 12.10.1892. There are also CVs bearing the credit "Maurice & Cie" at Boulevard Anspach, 4, c. 1892.

Arrived at this address on 24.8.1894, and left for La Louvière, Rue Hamoir, 12 (Oswald Werder's address) on 25.12.1900. He returned from there on 11.3.1902. This was probably only a private address. Renard was awarded a bronze medal diploma as a "cooperator" (i.e., employee) with "Photographie Klary" in Brussels at the Liège international exhibition of 1905.
