Emilius Cecilia Lambertus, ° 10.7.1886; + 19.4.1935. Pictorialist and then leading figure in post-pictorialism in Belgium in the interwar period. Member ("Rombaut Fils") of the "Cercle d'études photographiques et scientifiques d'Anvers" in 1903; no longer listed as a member in 1908. Founding member in 1903 and long serving president of the "Photo-Club d'Anvers" from 1911 until his death. Author of a Pictorialist credo, "L'Interprétation artistique par la photographie", Brussels, 1924.
