Georges Simon, ° 10.2.1871; + 13.11.1924. Merchant tailor. Pictorialist. Sometimes spelled "Rondenne". Husband of Anna Bruylant, known as Madame Georges Romdenne (see that name). Prize winner in multiple competitions organised by French magazine "Photo Pêle-Mêle" in 1903-1904. Romdenne regularly participated in photography competitions organized by the "Badminton Magazine of Sports & Pastimes" and his photographs were published in this British periodical from as early as October 1905. He won the magazine's Christmas competition in 1919 and his photographic submissions were still being published in July 1922.
