Isaac Samuel, ° 29.1.1886. "Isidoor" crossed out and replaced with "Isaac" in the population register but referred to as "Isidoor" in a newspaper article (Het Laatste Nieuws, 2.12.1909). Rys moved to no. 2 of this street on 28.10.1909, but his studio burned down on 30.11.1909 and he left for Paris on 19.7.1910. The studio at this address was owned by Pierre Clément Boeckx - Mélis (see that name).
