Paul Louis Auguste, ° 25.2.1874; + 20.8.1960. Younger brother of Jules Sano (see that name). Doctor of medicine and general practitioner. Autochromist. According to Florent Van Hoof, Sano's "interest lay in exploring the limits of the autochrome process, created collages and experimented with multiple exposures and photomicrography". The Photography Museum in Antwerp possesses autochromes by Sano as well as an album of experimental and medical photographs.
