Robert Jozef Alfons, ° 18.9.1878; + 17.6.1926. Son of Alphonse and a third-generation professional photographer. This was originally his parental home. Member of the "Société Réunion Lyrique", 1898. Almost certainly active in association with his father before the latter's death in 1904. At least initially Robert offered both photography and lithography, demonstrating continuity with his father's business. Still operating at this address in the 1920s, after which a relative B. Scheffermeyer was listed as running the studio from 1927 until 1931.
