° 27.12.1857. Arrived in Antwerp in October 1886 when he was recorded as a commercial clerk. At his wedding in Antwerp on 1.9.1887, Sligting's profession was given as photographer. Moved to this address on 28.12.1889 and left for Handelslei, 76 on 26.11.1897. He subsequently left for the Netherlands but returned to Antwerp on 20.4.1899 coming from Den Bosch [NL], when he declared that he had no profession but "received money from his family".
