° 13.3.1871. On the occasion of his wedding in Brussels on 26.1.1907, Sober was recorded as a photographer resident in Galerie de la Reine, 34. He later traded as "Photographie Éclair". At this address were the premises of his brother Edmond (see that name). No connection has yet been established with the studio Photo-Éclair, trading in the interwar years at Rue Antoine Dansaert, 30, that marked the 25th anniversary of its foundation in 1927 (Le Soir, 3.12.1927).
