François Louis Joseph, ° 1.9.1870; + 21.3.1935. Attaché at the "Bibliothèque royale de Belgique". Founding president of the "Cercle Photographique d'Ixelles" and still president of said club in 1895. Editor of the periodicals "Lux" then "Revue des Amateurs Photographes" and "L'Objectif". A photographic service was set up in the "Bibliothèque royale de Belgique" under Stainier's auspices in 1905, consisting of a studio and laboratory. By 1911, he was an administrator - inspector at the "Bibliothèque royale de Belgique".
