Laurent Guillaume Victor, ° 29.4.1836; + 2.8.1886. Views of Orval abbey. An album of his photographs, "Orval et Avioth", is housed in the abbey archives. It is estimated as dating to between 1870 and 1875 (Monasticon belge : Province de Luxembourg, 1975, p. 185). Another album, “Vues de l’Abbaye d’Orval", attributed to Stas de Richelle, is housed in the "Institut archéologique du Luxembourg", Arlon.
