Georgius Joannes, ° 17.3.1893; + 12.3.1958. Sometimes transcribed "Suyckerbuyk" or "Suyckerbuyck". Member of "Photographische Kring / Cercle de Photographie" until at least 1922; secretary in 1920. His photographs "Meimaand" and "Eerste bladeren" were published in "Petites Nouvelles Photographiques" in August 1912. He was working for the photographic service of the Antwerp city library in May 1930 (Le Matin, 7.5.1930) and would go on to become deputy librarian of this same institution. Referred to as "Joris Suykerbuyk" in the 1950s.
