Arthur Louis Joseph, ° 17.9.1869; + 19.1.1966. Medical doctor, naturalist and explorer. Explored the Congo, 1894-1896. Member of the scientific committee preparing Adrien de Gerlache's Antarctic expedition. Explored the region of Tenerife, 1900-1903. Part of a Belgian mission to Morocco in 1904. Donated 84 photographs (24 x 30 cm) from this last expedition to the "Musées Royaux des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels" in November 1905.
