° 6.8.1827; + 20.4.1909. Photographic supplies. Representative in 1906: Paul Nanta. Talbot arrived in Paris in 1852, where he ran a photographic studio and regularly ordered papers from the Steinbach firm (see that name). Member of the "Société française de photographie" on 6.11.1863 (at that time living in Paris, Rue d'Enghien, 50). He was expelled from the French capital in 1870 and fled to Liège, then to Berlin. He sold Beernaert plates. In 1883 he manufactured a twin-lens camera for 9 x 12 cm plates. In 1891 he marketed a "laternoscope" (slide projector). The Brussels branch appears to have continued trading in the year following Talbot's death.
