Joseph Theodoor, ° 4.12.1874; + 11.1.1956. Operator or collaborator of Pierre Van den Eynde (see that name). His father Evariste (see that name) was a military engineer and committed photographer.

May have previously operated for a short period at Percée de la Gare. Reportedly fled to Paris [F] at the outbreak of World War I and did not return until 1922 (De Voorpost, 20.1.1968). Active until 1934. Letterhead of successor partnership between brothers Octave & Evarist Tecqmenne, registered in 1931, states "Firm founded in Dendermonde in 1900". The studio is now run by a fourth-generation Tecqmenne, also named Octave.
